PAST CAMPAIGN EXPERIENCE • ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA

Experience beyond
the drawing board.

Artic Advertising supported Robert Nabors Sr.’s 2021 St. Paul mayoral campaign. Our September 7, 2021 announcement documented Artic’s involvement in sharing the campaign’s vision and communicating the candidate’s withdrawal from that race.

Bring your next campaign’s creative, communications and production needs to the conversation.

National campaign services. Las Vegas and Henderson focus.

Artic Advertising supports campaign marketing projects nationally, with a local focus on Las Vegas and Henderson. We can discuss creative and production needs for municipal, county, state and federal candidate teams. The office, jurisdiction, schedule and campaign requirements determine the appropriate scope.

Local knowledge helps with practical coordination: event locations, delivery schedules, production needs and on-site preparation. National projects require the same clarity about responsibilities, approvals and deadlines. We do not assume that one campaign plan or set of requirements applies to every race.

Campaign season moves fast. Your production plan should be clear.

Share your next public event, campaign deadline or material request. We will identify the deliverables, what your team needs to supply and where approvals are required. Expedited work depends on capacity and vendor availability; we confirm timing before accepting a production commitment.

  1. Brief: office, geography, campaign stage, deliverables and budget range.
  2. Plan: priorities, production dates and a designated approval contact.
  3. Create: design, content and supporting assets for review.
  4. Check: names, dates, links, proofs, disclosures and platform requirements.
  5. Deliver: publish or produce the approved materials, then review practical outcomes.

Useful campaign marketing facts

A sign and a website do different jobs. A sign needs a readable visual hierarchy at a glance. A website provides room for biographies, event details and next-step information. Matching their design helps make the transition feel consistent.

QR codes need a destination worth visiting. A code on a printed piece is only useful if it works on a phone and leads to the expected page. Test the final printed size and landing page before a large production run.

Merchandise is a production project as well as a design project. Fabric colors, embroidery areas and print methods change how artwork appears. Approve a production proof and confirm delivery dates before planning distribution.

Fast follow-up starts with clear responsibility. Label campaign inquiries and assign someone to review them. A form submission should reach a monitored destination rather than disappearing into an unused inbox.

AI-assisted workflows with human review

Campaign teams can use AI assistance to organize production schedules, summarize internal notes and prepare draft administrative content. Verify all public statements and keep a person responsible for approval. Artic’s partnership with GoMofo Digital connects creative work with digital marketing and practical automation discussions.

We do not present synthetic endorsements or fictional imagery as real campaign events. The illustrations on this page show possible service settings, not actual candidate clients. Campaign-specific claims, permissions and published materials should be approved by the campaign.

CAMPAIGN FIELD NOTES

Two guides for a more
organized campaign launch.

CAMPAIGN FIELD NOTES / 01

A practical campaign marketing launch checklist

Launching campaign marketing means bringing several moving pieces together. A website, yard sign, phone-bank guide and event banner should all use the same approved information. Begin with a shared campaign brief so designers, production vendors and campaign staff are working from one reliable source.

Build a source-of-truth brief

Record the candidate’s approved name, office sought, campaign contact details and the person authorized to approve materials. Include the logo files, preferred colors, approved photography and required disclaimer language supplied by the campaign. Version these assets so an outdated draft does not accidentally reach a printer or publisher.

Inventory the essential materials

List the pieces needed for the next campaign milestone. A launch may call for a website update, announcement graphics, printed handouts and event signage. A later event might need only a registration page, stage backdrop and video coverage. Separating essential items from optional additions makes the budget and schedule easier to manage.

Check the website on a phone

Campaign information should be easy to read on a small screen. Test the navigation, phone links, event details and forms. If a page links to a contribution platform, confirm that it reaches the campaign’s correct, approved destination. Avoid publishing draft information just to fill a section.

Prepare phone and event teams

Give staff approved reference materials, a defined role and a clear escalation contact. They should know how to handle questions they cannot answer and how to record requests for information. Confirm permitted outreach methods and any applicable consent or disclosure requirements with the campaign before calls or messages begin.

Review the final proof, not just the original design

Check the exact file being printed or published. Review names, spelling, dates, website addresses, QR codes and any required disclosures. For outdoor materials, confirm the production dimensions and placement permissions. A short final review can catch errors that become expensive after printing.

Keep a practical delivery record

Track which assets were approved, when they were delivered and who owns the next step. For Las Vegas, Henderson or national campaign projects, clear handoffs help teams respond to changing schedules without losing control of the materials already in circulation.

CAMPAIGN FIELD NOTES / 02

Connecting fundraising communications, events and campaign merchandise

Fundraising communication should help people understand the opportunity and reach the correct campaign-controlled destination. Clear design and reliable information matter at every step, from an event invitation to a mobile contribution page. Artic can support the marketing materials around that journey while the campaign retains control of contribution handling and compliance.

Separate the message from the payment process

Your website and creative materials can explain an event or fundraising opportunity. The campaign’s approved platform should handle the actual contribution process. Confirm the recipient, required notices, information collection and links before publication. Avoid using a general agency inquiry form to collect donations or payment information.

Make event information easy to find

Invitations should state the details the campaign has approved: the event purpose, location, time and instructions for responding. Use a clear hierarchy so readers do not have to search through a crowded graphic. A matching event page gives your team a central place to maintain current information.

Choose merchandise that can be produced on schedule

Caps, hats, shirts, buttons and stickers each have different production requirements. Small lettering that works on a screen may not reproduce well in embroidery. Ask for an appropriate proof, confirm quantities and sizes, and leave time for delivery. The campaign should review any rules relevant to how merchandise is funded, sold or distributed.

Plan distribution and capture content thoughtfully

Decide where materials will be stored, who will manage distribution and what needs to be transported to each event. If photography or video is planned, confirm permissions and the desired shot list. Images should accurately represent the event and the people who participated; do not imply endorsements that have not been given.

Follow up with relevant, approved information

After an event, organize requests and questions so the appropriate campaign team member can respond. Use communication preferences and approved messaging. Reporting can distinguish event inquiries, volunteer interest and questions about giving without treating every contact as the same type of relationship.

Review value without promising a fundraising outcome

A useful review looks at the quality of the materials, working links, event attendance information available to the campaign and the reliability of the response process. Marketing cannot guarantee a contribution total or election result. Clear planning helps the campaign understand what was delivered and what should improve next.
